Master Cleanse & 2013 update

This blog is to update where I'm at and what I'm doing for the next 10 days, maybe more.  2012 was a year of transformation in both directions for me. Not everyone has success with weight loss and stays that way. I was one of them. January 2012 started out great for me. I had a clear concise direction I was headed; my goal was to finish P90X a program I had purchased years before and never finished the first 30 days. Happy to say I did accomplish that and even won the May monthly transformation for 2012 and received $1000 from beachbody! Yay! I had a second goal to compete in a competition and that's where things fell a part. On the outside, I was loving my new self, I felt sexy and confident and I was wearing a size 7 which I hadn't done since high school, well really middle school. But my family was not dieting or even trying to make lifestyle changes and I got sick of everytime we went out to eat I was watching my family while I was drinking a bottle of water and I was pissed. I was sick of it. My husband loved my new figure but he didn't understand how difficult it was for me and I binged. I binged hard to the point where I went from 119 pounds at 5'3 and a half inches which still wasn't competition ready back to 158 pounds in a matter of 3 months. I'm so sick of it. I want that body back but it was difficult working out 2 times a day, eating a specific diet of 5-6 meals a day especially when my husband, family, and kids ate whatever the hell they wanted. Even as I write this I get pissed thinking about it. Now that I'm back to my old weight he bitches about my weight again, well kiss my ass, lol. Anyway on to another subject. I did become a beachbody coach because I wanted to inspire others to move their bodies. I am doing the vegan shakeology right now and I'm starting 2013 on a good track.
Now on to the other subject of this blog, the master cleanse. I've been really watching the youtube videos on Dr. Robert Cassar and the EarthShift Project and the 6 liquids of vitality and living that lifestyle. It's a process that I'm working toward and I love how the program is not designed to take everything away from you that you love. It's baby steps, what you're comfortable shedding from your life when you understand what you're truly doing to your body. One of the 6 liquids of vitality is the lemon-cayenne drink which is basically the master cleanse with some extras. So I went the the master cleanse website, http://themastercleanse.org and have decided that I'm going to do this for 10 days and maybe longer, I haven't decided yet. I want to shed old habits of food attachment, because addiction to food is just as hard as any addiction. All the crap that is in our processed foods is killing us in the long term because our children will carry on the traits we've passed to them and next thing you know everyone will be obese on this planet in a few generations. Our children are being born with these chemicals before they've even put a single bottle of formula in their little mouths and it's our fault. So anyway, I'm on day 1 of this cleanse. Well I guess tomorrow will officially be because I had some yerba mate this morning before my cayenne drink and you're not supposed to have caffeine during the cleanse. So I won't go into details, check out the website and the facebook page, but I've altered mine a littel and I'll tell you what I did. I have 33 oz of the mixture. 3 organic lemons, a pinch of cayenne that I purchased from www.earthshiftproducts.com and the raw agave that I also purchased from that site instead of the maple syrup. I also add baking soda to my purified water to alkalize the water. Even though lemons are an acid, they have an alkalizing effect on your body and the cayenne, well go check out Dr. Cassar or look up 6 liquids of vitality and click on his lemon-cayenne info. In the mornings you do a salt flush which is 2 teaspoons of sea salt in 32 oz of water and down it and in 30-60 minutes you will go to the bathroom and flush out what your body is getting rid of. I'm going to use pink himilayan instead of sea salt and I will let you know how that works for me. I will tell you that with the cayenne drink it deters you from wanting to eat because of the cayenne. I encourage yoga and rebounding. I have a rebounder and I just purchased a UTX video to do 3 days a week and 2 days a week I will be doing a workout that I did when I was training for the competition which I can write on next if you're interested in trying it out. It's 30 seconds of high intensity and 30 second rest and you do it 5 times for a total of 30 minutes. So anyway I will post tomorrow and let you know how my first day went and how the salt flush goes and if it works for me.
